Due to the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix in Baku, some educational institutions located in the areas affected by the race will switch to online learning. The decision is connected with the organization of the international sporting event and temporary traffic restrictions in central areas of the city. The 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place from September 24 to 26 at the Baku City Circuit. During the race period, changes to traffic arrangements are expected, which may make it difficult for some educational institutions to continue regular face-to-face classes. The transition to online learning does not mean that classes will be cancelled. The educational process will continue remotely, while schools are expected to inform students and parents about the changes and the relevant schedules. The measure does not apply to all schools in Baku; it concerns educational institutions located in areas affected by the race. The temporary use of online education will therefore allow students to continue their studies while helping reduce the impact of traffic restrictions during the Formula 1 event.
